We currently have an opening for a Packaging Supervisor in our Mira Loma, CA location.

     

     

     

    As a key member of the Packaging leadership team, the Supervisor will serve as a technical leader focused on improving department performance and efficiency metrics through training, developing, motivating and leading a packaging team.  In addition, the Supervisor will evaluate, create, and update processes and procedures to reflect best in class concepts.  This would include developing staff, prioritizing and leading specifics projects, recommending improvements and continuous improvement projects, and optimizing team processes leading to increases in team efficiency and inventory accuracy.

    Responsibilities

     Oversee day to day operations in the packaging area

    Manage resource needs and request personnel as needed.  Train and develop staff to optimal performance

    Identify process constraints and needed improvement.  Apply continuous improvement tools (e.g.) Lean Sigma TPM) to find solutions and work to develop and implement these solutions.  Measure results in site, department and line KPI's.

    Provide Leadership to build a team that can deliver best in class results to the business.  Drive continuous improvement into the culture.

    Lead or partner with ES on assuring the department  meets  all safety, environmental and health requirements including permits and ergonomic improvements.

    Communicate effectively internally and with all customers.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Technical or Business Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience.

    5 years relevant experience in GMP environment.

    1 year supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience.

     

    Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred

    Familiarity with automatic processing equipment

    Strong verbal and written communication skills
