We currently have an opening for a Distribution Supervisor for our Mira Loma, CA Distribution Center.

    We are looking for a leading edge Distribution Supervisor to join our dynamic and diverse organization. The role provides a high level of Leadership to the Receiving and Shipping Operations Teams; including accurate receipt, verified and auditable put-away as well as the final meticulous staging of all customer orders. The role provides the vision and overall shift leadership to ensure Distribution Center operational guidelines, safety compliance and protocols are adhered to, productivity standards are maintained and continuous improvements as well as new ways of operating are part of the culture.  

    Responsibilities

    • Under general supervision, performs routine complex packaging of a variety of bottles; and cleans, assembles, and disassembles packaging machinery.
    • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures; and state, federal and local laws
    • Follows verbal and written instructions provided by the Line Lead and Packaging Supervisor for packaging various sizes of bottles
    • Performs packaging duties using packaging equipment, or manually, if packaging equipment is not available
    • Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs); safety; packaging; cleaning; and assembly and disassembly of machinery
    • Attends all safety and packaging training sessions
    • Meets project deadlines and performance standards
    • May operate material handling equipment
    • Recommends equipment/supply needs
    • Complies with all company policies and procedures
    • Performs related duties as assigned
    • Operators are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, vision to monitor, lifting materials weighing up to 25 pounds and moderate to loud noise levels. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment

    Qualifications

     

    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in building highly effective teams
    • 2-3 years’ experience working with leading edge distribution technologies, especially RF devices
    • Ability to demonstrate high level understanding of distribution; the financial impact of decision making while having the ability to recommend change
    • Must have strong aptitude dealing with performance metrics and be able to produce KPIs for measuring and delivering best-in-class results
    • Working knowledge and execution of eCommerce processes required
    • BS/BA required in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Business Administration
    • 7+ years of hands-on, progressive growth in distribution positions in-lieu of a degree
    • Advanced PC skills required in MS Office Platforms with a strong concentration in Excel’s Pivot Tables and VLookUp
    • Hands-on knowledge of WMS and TMS operations required; working knowledge of Oracle preferred
