We currently have an opening for  Data Entry Clerk  in our Mira Loma, California facility

    Responsibilities

    Performs manual clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies via desk top computer or other data entry device

     

    • Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer.
    • Proficient with small package carrier software – UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.
    • Answer phones
    • Attentive to customer window and assist all customers when they arrive at the service window
    • Comply with all safety standards/policies and the pulling of samples for approval.
    • Determine space requirements and position of incoming raw and finished goods
    • Movement of skids of materials throughout the facility using and the operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks and electric hand jacks.
    • Responsible for receiving and distributing all incoming and outgoing deliveries for the plant.
    • Comply with Company safety and housekeeping rules.
    • Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received.
    • Accurately label freight to destination.
    • Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
    • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
    • Performs other duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 2 years data entry experience
    • Fast and accurate typing skills
    • Fast and accurate Ten Key skills
    • Strong oral, written communications skills, computer (Microsoft Office) and knowledge of Oracle or other WMS
    • Good phone etiquette
    • Attentive to detail and accurate, well organized and must be detail oriented
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
    • Strong analytical skills and problem solving attributes.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
    • Ability to speak Spanish a plus
