               We currently have an opening for a Packaging Line Lead in our Greenville, South Carolina facility for 2nd shift.

    This position will coordinate packaging activities within the respective area of responsibility to ensure quality and conformity of packaged product and company standards are met.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure as packaging lead all required steps of batch records are carried out and all required records are recorded neatly and properly
    • Report production and confirmation for packaging records
    • Perform and record all quality checks as required in the packaging batch record
    • review and reconcile all packaging batch records
    • At the end of the line run, ensure that the line is cleaned properly  and returns are processed
    • Train or have a qualified associate to train a temporary ir new associate
    • Ensure that production area is clean and equipment is cleaned properly in accordance with GMPs and SOPs
    • Responsible for process improvements
    • Engage in the use of Lean Sigma Tools; i.e. FMEA, DMAIC, 7 Wastes
    • Actively participate as a team member within the packaging department

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Packaging experience
    • History of responsibility and dependability
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Good math skills including fractions, decimals
    • Computer knowledge
    • Ability to operate packaging material handling equipment (pallet jacks)
    • Detail orientated
    • Perform neat and accurate paperwork
    • History of good attendance (overtime as required - including weekends)
