  • Overview

     

     

     

    To manage all warehouse activities on assigned shift which includes processing shipments, receipts, storage of supplies, material and equipment. Supervise groups of workers engaged in transporting, loading/unloading, and storage of materials while promoting the efficient and economic material flow. Provide a safe and clean working environment. Maintain and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to produce a product of required quality within the timeframe of customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Daily scheduling for warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to service internal and external customers
    • Utilize continuous improvement with managers and supervisors to improve customer service to production and eliminate stock outs
    • Coordinates the verifications and reconciliation of inventory accuracy and cycle counts
    • Monitors warehouse team performance and keeps Managers informed of performance issues
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
    • Performs computer transactions and adjustments in ERP system.
    • Understands and adheres to all cGMP and FDA regulations.
    • Identifies and reports any quality issues to supervisor or quality department.
    • Understands and adheres to all Company policies, procedures, SOPs and Safety regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Prefer Associate Degree or Bachelors’ Degree but not mandatory
    • 3-5 years of prior warehouse experience, including supervisory experience
    • work experience in inventory Control and Warehouse/Distribution Management
    • Ability to lift 50lbs
    • Ability to operate a stand-up and sit down Forklift with an excellent safety record (Licenses preferred)
    • Experience in GMP environment (Preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry)
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
    • Strong work ethic, professional approach and dedication.
    • Ability to follow SOPs and cGMPs, i.e., wearing appropriate clothing, beard covers, gloves, etc.
    • Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
    • Must maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills.      
    • Ability to interact with other department Technicians, Schedulers, Product development and Information Services.
    • The ability to work independently, within a production team and without supervision.
