  • Overview





    Performs functions to coordinate and control all activities required for maintaining an accurate inventory of raw materials and components. This would include the posting of all ERP transactions in a timely manner. Coordination with various departments to ensure materials are physically received for production and systematically transferred in a timely manner is required. Investigating inventory discrepancies and developing solutions to address the causes for the discrepancies is expected. Maintain and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to produce a product of required quality within the timeframe of customer requirements.


    • Evaluates daily production schedule for assigned departments, in discussion with other supervisors to plan and prioritize daily work schedule to meet manufacturing requirements.
    • Reviews daily inventory of raw materials in warehouse against anticipated schedules for production to minimize amount of handling and damage to product.
    • Maintains appropriate logbooks, checklists and documentation per approved procedures.
    • Develops cross-functional strategies to improve material flow, reduce non-value handling and increase space utilization.
    • Coordinates inter-org transfers and utilizes “Just-In-Time” philosophy to minimize on-site storage.
    • Performs computer transactions and adjustments in ERP system. Performs cycle counts and other duties as assigned to maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Understands and adheres to all cGMP and FDA regulations.
    • Identifies and reports any quality issues to supervisor or quality department.
    • Understands and adheres to all Company policies, procedures, SOPs and Safety regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned


    • A minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferable in a pharmaceutical company.
    • Ability to lift 50lbs
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Ability to operate a stand-up and sit down Forklift with an excellent safety record (Licenses preferred)
    • Experience in GMP environment (Preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry)
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
    • Strong work ethic, professional approach and dedication.
    • Ability to follow SOPs and cGMPs, i.e., wearing appropriate clothing, beard covers, gloves, etc.
    • Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
    • The ability to weigh materials using the metric system (kg) understanding tare, gross and net weights.
    • Must maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills.
    • Ability to interact with other department Technicians, Schedulers, Product development and Information Services.
    • The ability to work independently, within a production team and without supervision.
