    POSITION SUMMARY
    The QC Chemist will perform analytical testing upon raw material, in-process, bulk product, stability and validation samples in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy, while maintaining compliance with cGMP, USP, SOP,s while working in an FDA controlled environment. Other duties as assigned by Quality Management

    Responsibilities

    The QC Lab Chemist will perform chemical and physical analysis of raw material, in-process, bulk product, stability and validation samples in a timely manner and with the boundaries of Intergel (IVC) and the US Pharmacopeia (USP) or other compendia (as specified) test methods, SOP’s and industry regulations.   Knowledge of HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR, and ICP. Preferred experience with 21 CFR Part II compliance. Years’ of experience: 4 + years.

    Level of Education
    BA Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences.
     
    Level of Experience

    4 + years
    Candidate must have knowledge of basic principles of analytical chemistry.  Candidates must have demonstrated high degree of attention to details.  Proven Self-Starter and Highly Motivated 

     

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Familiarity with the following Instrumentation preferred; FTIR, UV/VIS, Dissolution Tester,HPLC, and ICP
    Prefered experience with 21 CFR Part II compliance
