We currently have an opening for Plant Electrician in our Philadelphia, PA facility.


    1. Regular inspection of all electrical equipment in the facility.
    2. Adhere to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safety policies & procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash.
    3. Regularly troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (Allen Bradley), motors, drives and relay control systems.
    4. Knowledge of DC control circuits, 4-20mA, 0-10v loops, and calibration.
    5. Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
    6. Bending, installing conduit, and wiring for equipment installations.
    7. Maintain proper stock of tools, and electrical parts to perform routine work.
    8. Strong understanding of codes and ordinances. NFPA 70 is preferred.
    9. Knowledge and safe use of electrical test meters such as VOM, meggers, Instrument loops simulators, conductors, and amp meters.
    10. Knowledge in industrial network systems including, ethernet communications, security, and fire alarm systems.



    • Two-year associate degree, licensing, or equivalent trade school technical training in related field is required.
    • Minimum of five years manufacturing experience with Allen Bradley controls is required.
    • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or food industry preferred.
    • Familiar with computer hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability and compatibility with new and existing systems
    • Requires proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs, PCs or DCS systems. Familiar with Allen Bradley software, controls and VFDs.
    • Requires advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, motor controls logic. Knowledge of CMMS preferred.
    • Willingness to work as needed within a team environment in support of company goals.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to read and comprehend SOP’s, Batch Records and training documents.
    • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and skills is a requirement.
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed
