We currently have an opening for a Compression Operator in our Greenville, South Carolina facility, 2nd  shift.

    Position controls and monitors automated equipment in the packaging department. Maintains necessary documentation for each position required. Ensures adherence to SOPs and cGMPs in a FDA controlled environment.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Efficiently operate packaging machinery
    • Pack off finished product into case packs and onto pallets as needed
    • Take apart and clean machinery according to SOPs and cGMPs
    • Perform accurate quality checks and completes required documentation in a neat and timely manner
    • Actively participates as a team member within the packaging department

    Qualifications

     

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Good math skills, including fractions, decimals, etc.
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Ability to work well with others and independently
    • Light industrial experience helpful
    • Pays attention to detail
    • Ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jacks)
    • Ability to comprehend / write/ follow through simple instructions in English
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting
    • History of good attendance  is required along with dependability and responsibility
    • Willingness to learn and perform new job functions
    • Overtime required when needed (including weekends)
