Production Associate

Under general supervision performs all of the duties required during the pre-weighing of powders and ingredients to be used for the manufacturing and dispensing on the Powder lines.

• Ensure that immediate work area is clean and safe.
• In absence of the Area Lead ensure that all scales are calibrated according to current SOPs.
• Ensure that product, batch record and pick list match
• Weights out partial amounts of different RMs according to the formula page.
• Ensure that weigh up tickets match the weigh up print out
• Ensure equipment is operating properly
• Ensure that entries made into the batch record are accurate and legible.
• Ensure that all RMs going back to stock are properly labeled and the return to stock form is filled out
• Ensure that production log books are filled out correctly
• Communicate any and all production issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor / Manager.
• Attend all outlined training sessions scheduled i.e. safety, and CGMP

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least one (1) year experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements
• Able to work in an environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend written English instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Possesses the ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb and lift consistently throughout the shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 25.00 Kg.
• Capable and willing to work overtime, flex on weekend schedules.
