Instructional Designer

IVC is looking for an amazing Instructional Designer to join our team! The Instructional Designer is responsible for supporting the development of training for the manufacturing environment. This role will require excellent written communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into well documented training material based on principles of adult learning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to present creative learning solutions and create efficient workflow as established by corporate guidelines. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Organizational Development. This role will be in South Carolina, some remote work is optional.

• Edit new and current video content
• Assist in storyboard creation with your team and cross functional partners
• Develop training materials (both instructor lead training and e-learning) and ensure proper revisions, updates, and consistent storage of material.
• Create blended learning solutions which may include knowledge checks, scenarios, presentation decks, job aids, videos, and assessments.
• Manage the distribution and maintenance of content for our Learning Management System, ComplianceWire
• Assist the Sr Manager and Analyst on content creation and script management.
• Work within multiple systems such as Camtasia and Articulate
• Assist in development new and innovative ways to ensure training reaches the entire employee base
• Stay up to date on technology and advances within the training, learning and organizational development field and manufacturing industry
• Ensure high quality user experience including but not limited to creating instructional graphics, evaluating the user interface, and assessing the finished product.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• 3-5 years’ experience in instructional design
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience using a learning management system on the admin side
• Experience with Articulate Suite and Camtasia
• Ability to multitask and stay on timeline
• Ability to work independently
