Overview

Under general supervision performs all of the duties required during the weighing of raw materials/ingredients to be used for the manufacturing of Powders to be dispensing on the Packaging Powder lines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that work area is clean and safe.
  • Ensure that weigh up equipment is operating properly.
  • At the beginning of the workday, ensure that all scales are calibrated according to current SOPs.
  • Weights out partial amounts of different RMs according to current SOP and following formula page.
  • Ensure that product, batch record and pick list matches.
  • Ensure that entries made into the batch record are accurate and legible.
  • Utilizing a RF Scanner, issue the amount weighed to the batch in the system following the “Issue Ingredients for Manufacturing” script.
  • Ensure that all RMs going back to inventory are properly labeled and the “return to stock” form is filled out.
  • Ensure that department log books are filled out correctly.
  • Communicate all production issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor / Manager.
  • Attend all outlined training sessions scheduled i.e. safety, and CGMPs.

Qualifications

  • Attentive to detail and accurate, well organized and must be detail oriented.
  • 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Able to work in an environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written English instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
  • Mathematical skills. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Possesses the ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb and lift consistently throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25.00 Kg.
  • Capable and willing to work overtime, flex on weekend schedules.
