Overview

The Account Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Director National Accounts. The Account Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Director National Accounts and works cross functionally to ensure that products launch on time, sales programs are executed effectively, and customer satisfaction/service levels meet or exceed established goals.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to work directly with customers managing multiple projects to come in on time
  • Assist with the costing/quoting process, assist with bid situations and other sales projects that the company initiates
  • Ability to shift priorities and workflow according to customer demands
  • Obtain samples internally and ship to customers as required
  • Develop and maintain accurate account project trackers in Excel
  • Manage projects, including mock-ups, labels, new items and displays from concept to launch
  • Run weekly/monthly account-level reports including: shipment, inventory levels and other reports as needed in COGNOS system and prepare in Excel to present to Senior Director and include in sales presentations
  • Ability to learn key account data programs both internally and externally such as; Nielsen/IRI data, Projectivity, Ensur, COGNOS and others.
  • Ability to develop and work with Senior Director on sales presentations and provide the required support to meet sales objectives
  • Must have strong follow up skills and ability to keep other departments on track to meet company sales objectives

Qualifications

  • BS/BA preferred
  • Detail and goal oriented, with demonstrated accurate, strong organization, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Solid communicator with ability to drive projects cross functionally
  • Expert with MS Office; Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Product knowledge helpful but not required
  • Good understanding of retail merchandising a plus
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects delivering quality work on time
