Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on various projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in your field of study. This internship offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment. The internship would be for Summer 2024 semseter. This is a part-time (less than 30 hrs)  position. The duration of this role would coincide with the selected 2024 Summer University/College semester schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or mentor.
  • Perform Lean manufacturing projects

  

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other similar engineering or scientific majors.
  • Knowledgeable in some of the following areas: software programming, computer-aided design, analog / digital design, guidance & control, systems analysis, or systems integration.
  • Have coursework, interest, motivation, and experience that provide the foundation to develop an expertise in one or more of the above engineering specialties.
  • Completed at least sophomore year of college/university.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • General knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling and analysis methods.
  • Work Hours: As agreed upon, based on intern availability and business needs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., visa sponsorship not available.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must provide unoffical transcript from university 
  • Must complete Background screening and drug test
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Solidworks or other modeling software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Participation in engineering projects, clubs, or competitions can demonstrate practical skills and knowledge
