Overview

Provide administrative support as QA Inspector in the QA Dept. Candidates assures proper documentation practices are followed by the internal and external customers and meet all regulatory requirements. Assist in operations for packaging product, perform first piece checks, and ensure GDPs are followed. Perform inspections on finished product as needed. Transact appropriate release/hold decisions are made in Oracle and/or iWMS.

Responsibilities

  • Review and inspect incoming components, Perform AQLs, MAVs GMP documentation for nutritional products to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, POs and Contract Customer Quality Assurance agreements.
  • Perform Quality Assurance Release in Oracle and/or iWMS as required.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections in specific departments (internally and externally) as required.
  • Issue Investigation Forms and place or will advise product placed on Hold when evidence indicates product does not meet specifications. Track CAPA to support disposition.
  • Track Inspection activities on daily log for monthly reporting and trending.
  • Other duties as required by Manager

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Level of Experience (specify type and length; Example: 1-2 years' supervisory experience)
  • 2-4 years working experience in a manufacturing pharmaceutical environment. Nutritional experience
  • preferred.

 

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Working knowledge of cGMP, goods documentation practices, and Oracle knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals, teams and
  • cross-functional groups. Fluent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Out Look). Good communication
  • Both written and verbal. Good problem solving and reasoning skills. Self -directed. Good Math
  • Good attendance. Experience in Quality System is a plus. Data entry Skills. Good Organizational skills.
