Overview

Position Overview 

This position is responsible for assisting the Shipping/Receiving/Operations Supervisor in coordinating material movement, both incoming and outbound, in all aspects of the Shipping/Receiving/Operations Dock and/or Warehouse operations. 

 

 

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities 

  • Assist in scheduling assignments, deliveries, and shipments. 
  • Coordinate material movement both incoming and outbound; to include loading and unloading trucks and staging materials for packaging operations. 
  • Responsible for ensuring completion of all Dock / Warehouse paperwork such as pull sheets, time sheets, inventory movements, inspection / cleaning logs, and forklift checks.  
  • Gathers and communicates all information regarding inventory movements, manufacturing demands, shipped and received items.  
  • Maintains and updates inventory management systems. 
  • Resolve inventory movement, OS&D, scheduling, and delivering issues. 
  • Ensure end of shift duties and cleaning are performed. 
  • Train all new employees in job assignments. 
  • Use of powered industrial equipment to assist in pulling and putting away  
  • Work Overtime as needed. 

 

General Responsibilities

  • Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.  
  • Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.   
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

The Candidate 

Education, Experience, and Licenses: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • 4 years of experience within a manufacturing warehouse environment 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in RF programs. 
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach, develop, and motivate staff. 
  • Ability to operate all Dock and Warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. 
  • Know and understand the cGMP and other regulatory compliance. 
  • Maintain awareness and enforcement of health and safety practices and activities. 
  • Be involved in the development, implementation, and updating of health and safety plans and procedures. 
  • Actively participate in health and safety training programs and demonstrate competency based on training. 
  • Make safety a priority in daily operations by: 
  • Actively participating in health and safety activities. 
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Ensuring adequate resources are provided. 
  • Providing suggestions for improvement to the health and safety program 
  • Must have knowledge and compliance of company and departmental SOP’s / WI. 
  • Ability to function effectively at both strategic and tactical levels. 
  • Proven leadership skills including the ability to coach, assess, evaluate, develop, motivate, and empower  others.  
  • Strong change management skills to challenge the status quo and drive improvements. 
  • High ethical standards.  
  • Models and supports organization’s goals and values.  
  • Leadership by example, “roll up the shirtsleeves” management style and work ethic. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills

  • Create and maintain positive relationships with many internal and external customer 
  • Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management 
  • Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision-making 
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience 
  • Self-motivated and dedicated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and remain flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity  
  • Ability to act in an ethical and open manner and consider the impact of decisions 
  • Computer experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook Email. Experience with Warehouse ERP Systems 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the day 
  • Must foster and display a positive attitude towards teamwork and professionalism. 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
